QUESTAR CEO, CFO CERTIFY COMPANY STATEMENTS

SALT LAKE CITY — Questar Corp. (NYSE:STR) today announced that Keith O. Rattie, president and chief executive officer, and Stephen E. Parks, senior vice president and chief financial officer, have submitted statements with the Securities and Exchange Commission certifying the company's financial statements. Questar and its reporting subsidiaries also filed the necessary certifications for the second-quarter 2002 reports as required by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
