QUESTAR SHAREHOLDERS ELECT THREE BOARD
MEMBERS; SECOND-QUARTER DIVIDEND PAYMENT AUTHORIZED

DENVER — Questar Corp. shareholders today elected three directors to new three-year terms at the company's annual meeting of shareholders. They are: W. Whitley Hawkins, retired president and chief operating officer of Delta Air Lines and owner of a consulting firm; Robert E. Kadlec, retired president and chief executive officer of BC Gas Inc., and owner of a venture-capital firm; and Harris H. Simmons, president and chief executive officer of Zions Bancorporation and chairman of the board of Zions First National Bank.

The company's board of directors also approved a $.17 (17-cent) per share quarterly common stock dividend. The dividend — payable June 19, 2000, to shareholders of record on May 26, 2000 — is the same as the previous quarter's and one-half cent higher than a year earlier.
